The Strategy Swordsman is one of the three Avatar classes that the player can unlock at the start of the game.

He starts with the following skills unlocked:

Leveling the Strategy Swordsman with Fire Flux crystals will randomly upgrade his existing skills and unlock others.

Skill Description
Swordsman wields his sword and attacks 1 enemy 2 times, dealing P.DMG equal to P.ATK*[Skill Level] and inflicting [Bleed] on the target (this effect ignores Resistance).
  • [Bleed]: While the effect is active, takes bleed type P.DMG equal to the caster's P.ATK *55% each round, lasting 3 rounds, stacking up to 3 times.

Skill Description
Swordsman wields his sword and spins to slash 1 enemy, dealing P.DMG equal to P.ATK*[Skill Level] and causing indirect damage to the enemies beside the target. Inflicts 2 stacks of [Bleed] on the primary target (this effect ignores Resistance).
  • [Bleed]: While the effect is active, takes bleed type P.DMG equal to caster's P.ATK *55% each round, lasting 3 rounds, stacking up to 3 times.

Dominant Oppression

Skill Description
Swordsman jumps high and strikes 1 enemy, dealing physical damage equal to P.ATK*[Skill Level] and inflicting 1 or 2 stack(s) of [Scar] (this effect ignores Resistance) at random.
  • [Scar]: While the effect is active, increases the character's damage taken from [Dominant Oppression] by 20%, lasting till the end of the battle, stacking up to 4 times.

Skill Description
Swordsman slings the giant sword, slashing 1 enemy upon catch, dealing P.DMG equal to P.ATK*330% and inflicting [Severe Coma] which ignores Resistance. Gains [Exhaustion]. Casting the skill at full health will trigger Crit.
  • [Severe Coma]: While the effect is active, the character goes out of control, damage taken increased by 8%. Lasts 2 rounds. Cannot be purified.
  • [Exhaustion]: While the effect is active, the character can only defend but will not deduct Rage at the end of the round. Lasts 1 round. Cannot be purified.
Passives
Requires 160 Avatar Insight each to unlock
  • Till Death
    • If the target survives Brute Slash, gains 10 Rage; if not, reduces Brute Slash's CD time by 1 round.
  • Robust Physique
    • Casting Brute Slash will not grant [Exhaustion] if not at full health.

Skill Description
Swordsman charges to attack 1 enemy and spins the sword hard, dealing P.DMG equal to P.ATK*[Skill Level] and inflicting 2 stacks of [Bleed] (this effect ignores Resistance). This skill consumes all Rage and increases the damage dealt.
  • [Bleed]: While the effect is active, takes damage equal to the caster's P.ATK *55% each round, lasting 3 rounds, stacking up to 3 times.

  • Heroic Pose
    • [Valor Attack] damage increases by 13%.
  • Great Power

      • [Major Damage]: While the effect is active, increases the character's damage taken from Swordsman by 10%, stacking up to 3 times, lasting till the end of the battle.
  • Cruelty
    • Valor Strike immediately settles all stacks of [Bleed] on the target.
Swordsman Strategy skill 3.2

Killing

Unlocked at Spec Level 15
Skill Description
Swordsman attacks with his full power to kill 1 enemy, dealing P.DMG equal to P.ATK*[Skill Level]. When the target's HP is below 30%, increases the skill damage by 75%. This skill consumes all Rage and increases the damage dealt. If the skill cannot kill the target, returns 50% of Rage consumed.

  • Insight
    • The HP of triggering Killing's damage bonus increases to 40% (30% when the passive skill is still locked).
  • Last Blow
    • The lower the target's HP, the higher chance for Killing to deal critical attack.
  • Slash Combo
    • Grants an additional move opportunity when Killing kills the target.

Unruly Fighter

Skill Description
The Swordsman gains 1 stack of [Courage] for each skill used. After triggering a critical strike, the Swordsman also gains [Concentrate]. The Swordsman gains a Agitation effect if there is an existing [Poisoned], [Bleed] or [Burn] effect at the beginning of a round.
  • [Courage]: While the effect is active, each stack increases the Swordsman's P. DMG by (16.30% + Mastery Bonus), up to 3 stacks and removed once max stacks are reached.
  • [Concentrate]: The Swordsman's attacks ignores any shields on the target for 1 round.
  • [Agitation]: While the effect is active, increases damage dealt by 25% for 1 round.
Skill Flux Combo

Skill Description
Ignores the target's shield effects, reduces massive HP of all the enemies. The reduction value is related to the team's level and energy.
Skill Defense

Skill Description
When you receive a fatal damage, has a chance to enter the [Hide] status.

Stage 1
Unlocked at Spec Level 10
Increases self's DMG Dealt by 3%, if the wearer is a [Fire] Flux Avatar or Gyee, additionally increases the damage by 7%.
Stage 2
Unlocked at Spec Level 15
Reduces self's DMG taken from avatars or Gyees by 8%, and additionally reduces self's DMG taken from [Metal] flux avatars or Gyees by 16%.
Stage 3
Unlocked at Spec Level 20
At the beginning of each battle, self gets [Final Blow].
  • [Final Blow], lasts 22 rounds, cannot be dispelled, will be removed upon defeat, and cannot be stacked.
    • Self's DMG Dealt ignores shield and Dodge
    • When self's HP is lower than 35%, increases self's DMG Dealt by 15%.
