Gyee Wiki

Musso - A cold-blooded killer.

He was once part of a rich merchant's retinue. He was later abandoned and became a different man.

Bloodlust and vengeance course through his veins, but who made him this way?

Intro[]

When he was 14, Musso was sold to a wealthy merchant named Muller from Wooddale as an indentured servant, simply because his father was disgusted that Musso was Gyee. Back then, he was scrawny and worked menial labor, barely getting by at lowest status. Three years later, Musso matured into a stunning young man and attracted Muller's attention. The magnate promoted him to personal servant. They became inseparable, and for the first time in his life, Musso felt the bliss of being wanted.

But as Musso got older, Muller's interest in him waned. A young man named Gany was forced to come to the estate to work off debt and became Muller's new pet. Completely ignored, a bitter Musso joined Muller's caravan convoy, trained hard and grew strong in hopes of regaining Muller's favor.

The opportunity came soon enough. During a hunt, a wild boar charged Muller. Musso stopped the beast but paid the price of a nasty facial scar. He thought Muller would be pleased and take him back, but the man decided to exile him to the blacksmith shop instead, citing he was now 'too ugly for sight'. When Musso begged to stay by Muller's side, all he got was a beating, then expelled from the premises.

The event drastically changed Musso, driving him into the assassin trade, making his mark a hit man for anyone with a grievance--any grievance. He wouldn't instant-kill but slowly bleed a quarry to death, thus his 'Blooddripper' moniker. He also vowed that when he is powerful enough, he'll return to 'serve' Muller.

Intimacy Breakthrough[]

This section contains spoilers for Intimacy Breakthrough scenes.

-Intimacy Level 4
Musso: ... Thank you.
Musso: Actually, you don't have to be so kind to me.

-Intimacy Level 5
Musso: You've been too good to me.
Musso: If you want to place an order, just give me your name.

-Intimacy Level 6
Musso: Your wine has a very special flavor.
Musso: It kind of tastes like...
Musso: Blood that has just flowed out of a freshly cut artery.
Musso: Goodbye.
Musso: I'll come back again soon.

-Intimacy Level 7
Player: Back for more wine, Musso?
Musso: Out of all the places I've drank, yours is the best.
Player: The usual? A Bloody Sand?
Musso: No.
Musso: Twilight Creek.
Musso: This time please make me a Dusk River.
Use the basic wine to blend a 'Dusk River, Special Offer'.
Scene transition
Player: You're trying something new. Is something wrong?
Musso: ... just a feeling.
Player: What feeling?
Musso: I had a dream yesterday...
Musso: A very real dream.
Musso: I had this feeling in my dream.
Player: Could it be... In the dream, did you kill Muller?
Musso: That's none of your business.
Player: It's because it's none of my business that you can tell me.
Player: Because I'm just a listener, and a listener alone.
Player: And you're not a liar. Hasn't your reaction already told me that my guess is right?
Musso: ... His death was just as I planned. A kaleidoscope.
Musso: Perhaps... every time the revelry ends, all that is left is emptiness and loneliness.
Musso: ... but that feeling is like...
Musso: It's the same feeling as when I was abandoned.
Player: Was your hatred lessened at all?
Musso: ... No. It's exactly the same as hatred.
Player: And the hatred is directed at...
Musso: Maybe it's directed at the person who killed Muller. Maybe it's directed at the person who destroyed my only target.
Musso: The only thing I'm sure of is that that person is me.
Musso: I hate myself.
Musso: This wine...has washed away some of the hatred.
Musso: But I still feel...empty. Lonely.
Musso: It tastes terrible!
Musso: It's tastes even more revolting than hate.
Musso: I'm clearly already dead inside. Why should I keep on living?
Musso: Why can't I live with this hatred inside me forever?
Player: If this is what getting your revenge would feel like, would you still do it?
Musso: ... I would!
Musso: The stuff I've said today, we will not speak of it again.
Musso: ... I shouldn't have brought it up at all.
Musso: Bring me a Bloody Sand. I want to try something new.

-Intimacy Level 8
Musso: Twilight Creek.
Musso: Another glass... of Twilight Creek.
Musso: A whole year... That taste...
Musso: ...will disappear.

-Intimacy Level 9
Musso: What do you mean...
Musso: Could it be that I still need someone to keep me company?

-Intimacy Level 10
Musso: Today I killed a clergyman.
Musso: He said...
Musso: If light gets too close to darkness...
Musso: It either dispels the darkness or is swallowed by it.
Musso: Too many people in this world are swallowed up by the darkness.
Musso: But not you.
Musso: ...
Musso: ...You still don't undestand?!
Musso: Why haven't you left?! Why?!

-Intimacy Level 11
Musso: Have you heard of a 'Dragon Mountain Whetstone?'
Musso: Dragon Mountain...
Musso: Is the dividing line between us and the Shadows...
Musso: The stones on the mountain are used by the Shadowhunters to make whetstones.
Musso: If you could help me get a Green Whetstone, I would pay you a major reward.
Player: Ok.
Scene transition
Player: Like this?
Musso: Exactly! Look at the color, the luster... Feel the texture!
Musso: This is definitely it! This is definitely a Dragon Mountain Whetstone!
Player: This is the first time I've ever seen you this happy.
Musso: You have no idea. This kind of Dragon Mountain Green Whetstone needs to be cut from stones hundreds of meters deep...
Musso: Think about it! That's Dragon Mountain!
Musso: The whole time the workers are cutting out the stone, they're up against the threat of Shadow attacks.
Musso: If it weren't for the top-notch quality and incredible grinding capabilities, who would be willing to go up against that kind of danger?
Musso: Look at how glossy and smooth the stone is!
Musso: I guarantee you that if you stacked two of these stones together, you wouldn't be able to fit a strand of hair between them!
Player: You seem to really like honing blades!
Musso: Yeah.
Musso: It's because every time I hone a blade, the day I get my revenge is one day closer.
Player: That's not what I mean. From my point of view, you seem to have a pure enjoyment for honing blades.
Musso: What are you talking about?
Player: When you take a job, you're not only practicing killing, you're also making money, and working toward enacting your revenge plan.
Player: Between taking a job and honing blades, or should I say, killing and honing blades, which do you like more?
Musso: I... I don't know.
Musso: Humph. Are you trying to convince me to give it up, again?
Player: I'm just wondering if perhaps you won't feel so empty and lonely once you get your revenge.
Player: As long as you can find something you like to do, something that give you pure enjoyment.
Player: I'm sorry. I didn't mean to bring up that thing we agreed we wouldn't talk about.
Musso: No. You don't need to apologize to me.
Musso: You're very thoughtful. Thank you.
Player: I'd better go see to my other guests. Go try out your whestone!
Musso: Great!

-Intimacy Level 12
Musso: ...Didn't you once ask me, if I finally killed Muller and completed my revenge, what...
Musso: What would I do?
Musso: I said I didn't know.
Musso: That was a lie. It was the only lie I've ever told you.
Musso: ...I would take my own life.
Musso: That is the truth.
Musso: I know you would stop me.
Musso: So I'm telling you today, I've already dispensed with that thought.
Musso: Now, I've started to believe, that to keep on living, is the right thing to do.

-Intimacy Level 13
Musso: All my life... No person, no thing...
Musso: Has ever made me feel like I deserve to be loved.
Musso: Until Muller came along.
Musso: He is the one who has given me everything. And he is the one who has taken it all away.
Musso: Everything I've ever experienced tells me that there is no such thing as 'sincerity' in this world.
Musso: But you came to me... And told me... That's wrong.
Musso: Everything I've ever experienced, all my knowledge, my whole ideology... Is wrong.
Musso: What...should I believe?
Musso: Can I...truly trust you?

-Dim glowing rock. - 900 Intimacy
Musso: See, this is the 'special offering' I was talking about.
Musso: It seems mundane...
Musso: But who knew it's an obsidian shard?

Musso: People love shiny gems and often overlook hidden beauty.
Musso: Take this rock and go to my place.
Musso: Sharpen my knives for me.

Musso: Good choice.
Musso: But too bad my face is beyond this.
Musso: Now if it's decades before, however...

Debt

-Intro
Musso: Hey, I'm at the tavern and needs someone to pick up the tab.
Player: Yes.
Scene transition
Player: I cleared your bill.
Musso: When I'm done with the assassination gig,
Musso: I'll pay you back ten times what I owe.
Musso: If that's not good enough, give me another gig and I'll pay back 20 times.

-You're not a bad guy. - 500 Intimacy
Musso: There's no 'not a bad guy'.
Musso: Everyone is bad sometimes.
Musso: Bad action, bad decision, bad choice... They're all bad.
Musso: You think I'm 'not bad' is a bad decision.
Musso: But worry not, you're not making a bad choice.
Musso: I hate being indebted to others, so I won't reneg.
Musso: I got to get to work. You just sit tight and wait for the money.

-It's wrong to kill people. - 700 Intimacy
Musso: There are only two kinds of people in this world.
Player: Which two?
Musso: Those who kill and those who get killed.
Musso: You say it's wrong to kill people.
Musso: But that doesn't mean those killed are right.
Musso: Wrong people' killing 'right people'.
Musso: Which one would you rather be?
Musso: But regardless of which camp you are...
Musso: If I owed you, I can promise you wouldn't get hurt.
Musso: I got to get to work. You just sit tight and wait for the money.

-You must kill bad people. - 900 Intimacy
Musso: Don't preach.
Musso: I don't care whether the people I killed are good or bad.
Musso: I just know I never killed who I wasn't supposed to kill.
Musso: As a hitman...
Musso: I kill people for money.
Musso: And people who stood in the way of me making money.
Musso: As Musso the person...
Musso: I'll kill only one man.
Musso: Making money, living, keeping knives sharp, persevere...
Musso: It's all for that one man.
Musso: All for using the finest weapon and technique to kill that finest man.
Musso: I've had too much to drink and blathered enough.
Musso: I got to get to work. You just sit tight and wait for the money.

Flirting

-Intro
Musso: I'm looking for a blacksmith. Come and take me to one.
Player: Yes.
Scene transition
Musso: I've been to this shop before.
Musso: The smith here couldn't make a knife to save his life.
Musso: Even how he sharpens blades sucked ass.

-Maybe you should pay him more. - 500 Intimacy
Player: You pay enough, you get good blades.
Player: Have you consider taking more contracts?
Player: And save up enough money?
Musso: Do you have anybody you want killed?
Player: Me?
Player: ...
Player: Nope.
Player: But the blacksmith here might.
Player: Maybe you should ask.
Musso: Okay.

-Recommend Sig. - 900 Intimacy
Musso: I know him.
Musso: He made the entire set on my back.
Musso: He's the best out of all the blacksmiths I know.
Musso: But then his shop was burned down.
Musso: And he disappeared.
Musso: If I knew it would be so hard to find a good knife now,
Musso: when I sought him out...
Musso: I would've abducted him.
Musso: Since you know where he is now...
Musso: Take me to him!
Player: ...

-Don't be picky. - 700 Intimacy
Musso: I can't trust any of them inept buffoons.
Musso: So I had to sharpen the knives myself.
Player: You collected so many... Do you sharpen every one?
Musso: Yes, every one.
Player: Why? It's not like you get to use every one of them.
Musso: Yes, I use every one of them.
Musso: It's just that day hasn't come yet.
Player: ...
Musso: The grindstone from this shop is worth the price, though.
Musso: Follow me.

Musso: I'm not going to take knives from you for free.
Musso: But I can't afford them. All I can do is help you kill someone.
Choice - Why do you need so many knives?
Musso: Because I like knives.
Choice - Where does all your money go?
Musso: I use it to buy knives.
Conversation continues after choices
Musso: Now can you tell me who you want to kill?
-Choice B.1 - A pile of shiny knives...
Musso: Do you have a question?
Player: This makes me think of...

-Choice C - I want to hear your story.
Musso: I'm only interested in missions.
Player: If the nature of the mission is the same, the payment is the same.
Musso: I know you've been asking around about me.
Musso: So what do I have left to say?
Player: I've only heard the rough outline. I want to know the details.
Musso: I don't know what you want to know.
Musso: So just go ahead and ask.
Choices start
-Choice C.1 - What was your father like?
Musso: He's a normal person.
Musso: Worked the land every day. Sometimes he would drink.
Musso: Like everyone else, he disliked, even feared Gyee.
Musso: Even though his son was a Gyee.
Musso: Ask a different question.
Go back to Choices start

-Choice C.2 - How about your mother?
Musso: No comment.

-Choice C.3 - Were you kept inside as a child?
Musso: ... yes.
Choice C.3.1 - Well at least you didn't have to work.
Musso: I had to weave.
Choice C.3.1.1 - Well, at least that meant you were needed.
Musso: All he needed was a weaving tool. He didn't need me.
Musso: Anybody could have weaved for him. Even a machine.
Musso: This is your understanding of 'need?'
Player: No, no, no.
Musso: Next question.
Go back to Choices start
Choice C.3.1.2 - Weaving is a kind of art, too.
Musso: Depends on how many colors of threads you have.
Musso: It also depends on the receiver.

Musso: Next question!
Go back to Choices start
Choice C.3.2 - I'm sorry to hear that.

Choices start
-Choice C.5.1 - Do you feel anything for Muller besides hate?
Musso: This has nothing to do with you!
Musso: If you don't have any more questions, just get out!

Go back to Choices start

Musso: ...
Musso: I hate him!

Musso: No comment.

Go back to Choices start

-Choice C.5.3 - Muller doesn't discriminate against Gyee?
Musso: What do you think?
Player: (Muller doesn't seem to discriminate against Gyee at all. This is quite rare for a normal human.)
Player: (But Musso wholeheartedly wants to kill Muller...)
Player: (Maybe this is why Musso doesn't want to associate with us too closely?)
Go back to Choices start

-Choice C.5.4 - Why are you covered in patches?
Musso: You're sticking your nose into this matter, too?
Go back to Choices start

-Choice C.5.5 - In the future... - 8 Intimacy
Musso: Yeah.
Musso: Don't ask again.
Musso: There aren't many people who like to blather on with me like this.
Musso: If you keep asking, there's going to be trouble.
Musso: I don't have any plans.
Player: (He doesn't seem so indifferent...)
Player: (Maybe he's not so cold after all... He's just cold because of his experiences.)
Scene ends

-Part 3: Muller
Musso: Why do you want to kill him?
-Choice A - Because what he did to you went too far. - 8 Intimacy
Musso: What's that got to do with you?
Player: I can't stand it anymore.
Musso: That's none of your business.
Player: (It looks like I should start from his interests... I can't bring up Muller too soon...)
Scene ends

-Choice B - I thought you didn't ask for reasons?
Musso: What beef does he have with you?
Musso: Spit it out!
Both Choices - "Your enemies are my enemies." OR "Don't you think he should die?"
No additional dialog
Conversation continues after choices
Musso: ...
Musso: You understand nothing.
Choice B.1 - You're preparing a work of art.
Musso: ... You really do know something.
Player: You've collected a lot of knives and you polish them every day.

-Choice B - This is where Muller belongs! - 8 Intimacy
Musso: That's right!
Musso: I want to cut up his face and use his blood and mud...
Musso: and blend them into the perfect paint!
Musso: Afterward, I'll tie him to his precious diamond chair...
Musso: The walls, the floor, and the ceiling... they'll be covered in knives as bright as mirrors!
Musso: I want to make him know fear and despair!
Musso: I want him to watch all his ugly reflections. I want all his ugly reflections to watch him.
Musso: Up until the moment of his death!
Musso: No. How could I let him die so easily?
Musso: This is not a mirror. This is a knife!
Musso: The knives will arouse his longing. His longing for death...
Musso: He will use all his energy to try to move the chair...
Musso: He will keep moving toward the blades, because he knows that only by cutting his neck on one of them...
Musso: Will his nightmare finally come to an end!
Musso: But he will never succeed!
Musso: Not only that, but I will force open his eyes until he dies...
Musso: No. No, no, no.
Musso: Do not hesitate to close them, master...
Musso: As long as you close your eyes...
Musso: The most exquisite work of art in the whole world...
Musso: Permanently burned into your mind! Hahaha!
Choice - You can't do that.
Musso: You want to stop me?

Musso: Splendid... Beyond splendid...
Musso: Thousands of eyes... helpless, afraid, and hopeless!
Musso: Even...
Musso: Longing! Longing for death!
Musso: A thousand eyes watching a thousand flowers!
Musso: Flowers in mirrors!
Musso: Everything in front of him will be incomparably sharp mirrors. Immaculate blades!
Musso: My dear master, is this how you would like them destroyed?
Musso: Or perhaps you would like to take them and destroy yourself?
Musso: To destroy the brilliant red rose blossoming from the mix of mud and blood?
Musso: But I guarantee you, I cannot let you do that.
Player: (Uh oh, did I push him too far?)
Player: (Listening to this, it sounds like he wants to cut up Muller's face and tie him up in a room of hanging knives...)
Musso: Why do you look back at your favorite bejeweled seat, Master?
Musso: Is there any difference between the colorful flowers within the diamonds and those upon the walls, the floor and the ceiling?
Musso: A thousand flowers within mirrors... a thousand eyes within flowers!
Musso: They're all watching you, master...
Musso: What's wrong, master? You want to close those eyes?
Musso: No. No, no, no.
Musso: Please close those eyes. As long as you...
Musso: Close those eyes!
Musso: The most exquisite work of art in the whole world...
