Hachi - Once a guard to General Will, he is now the captain of Shadowhunters Spec Ops Forces.

Bloodrunner, bad temper, very fierce when angry

Intro[]

The Furry form of Hachi has brought a lot of trouble since young. He has lived with discrimination and assault in his childhood and youth, which has shaped his ill temper. It took five big fellows for the Light of Purity to rope him in and a long time before he let down his guard. Later, he became one of the Light of Purity.

Due to the violent temper, Hachi cannot switch freely from human and Furry form, so other warriors would not hang out with him. General Will seemed to see a young self when he looked at Hachi. He left no means untried to help him change. And Hachi began to learn to endure and refrain himself.

In a certain combat against the Shadow Legion, Will saw Hachi rush into the enemies, slaughtering them as if mad. That's Hachi's very own world. Hachi didn't have to live in a suppressed way like he did, so thought Will. Upon Will's recommendation, Hachi became a Shadowhunter. Since then, there has been no need for him to suppress his nature. He was able to transform the anger into power, turning into a sword against the Shadows.

So far, it has been three years since Hachi joined the Shadowhunters. He is now the captain of Bloodrunners, the special force of the Shadowhunters.

    • Flux Bracelet

Views[]

Unlock views by leveling the intimacy of other gyees.

  • Gaar: I do love furry Gyees. But... Why do you think I feel comfortable rubbing his hair?! Say, man, what's wrong with growing a head on the neck?
Gaar's Intimacy reaches Lv.2 to unlock
  • Bernard: I've been thinking of rushing to the front and killing enemies for rewards just like Captain Hachi. However, I gotta admit, his quick decision is what this man lacks. He's like a bayonet while I'm like a shield. A bayonet lunges at the enemy's heart. A shield protects the allies from bleeding. They pull their weight so the Shadows can be eliminated.
Bernard's Intimacy reaches Lv.4 to unlock
  • Martin: Feels excited with blood and murder, only to be blinded by brightness. Hahaha. What a shame. Someone who has mistaken use for grace is bound to be taken advantage of, isn't he?
Martin's Intimacy reaches Lv.6 to unlock
  • Will: Hachi has been sticking with me for many years. In spite of some deflects, he's pure and simple in nature. Together with his valor, he's a rare asset. Sending him away, it makes my heart ache, too. But a man is ready to realize his aspirations everywhere. He should go to his very own battlefield and notch up new glories!
Will's Intimacy reaches Lv.8 to unlock
  • Warrior of the Shadowhunters: Captain Hachi has got an ill temper. He would scold us harshly sometimes. But he would make an apology and cook meals for us!
  • Soldier of the Light of Purity: I remember Hachi to be a guardian of General. He's got tremendous might! Once we marched by a swamp, and a crocodile came out, almost giving General a good bite. He rushed over, grabbed the crocodile by the mouth and tore it apart!
  • Hachi's Townsman: Gosh, isn't he the bully of my village? How come he's a hero that hunts the Shadows? Great is the Light of Purity. It can turn a bad guy into a good man!

Scripts[]

Consolation Letter[]

My man!

General says brothers gotta contact more. But I gotta go training instead of having fun with you. So I gotta write you a letter.

Aww. I don't wanna be emotional now. I've forgotten spellings of many words. Gotta look them up in the dictionary. General being away, there's nobody that would press me into books. I just can't memorize those damn words!

I'm done. I'm done! You will come find me!

Though it's a jungle, we got camp. It won't leak or let in bugs, so you can sleep well. And you don't have to worry about food. You will go hunting with me. Anything you want, I will catch it in your stead! Oh, shame that I don't have alcohol!

Still, you can't ever bring alcohol along. No alcohol is allowed here. I'm the captain. I can't set a bad example. Well, you may bring some Fruit Wine like those in Hottie Bar! Fruit Wine doesn't count as wine, does it? Bring me some more!

That's a deal. Come fine me!

Bath Drama[]

  • Hmm. This is too hot. I prefer a cold shower!
  • How come half the water was gone the minute I got in?
  • I am stinky with sweat after the training! I was planning to take a bath!

Fave Hottie Slogan[]

What? My campaigning attitude isn't friendly enough? I even saluted the Shadowhunters! Was that too mean? Don't be so sensitive!

Intimacy Breakthrough[]

This section contains spoilers for Intimacy Breakthrough scenes.

-Intimacy Level 4
Hachi: Why are you giving me this?
Hachi: You want my help with something, right?
Hachi: No? Then why the gift?
Hachi: But I like it so I accept.
Hachi: Call it I owe you one. Let me know if you need any help.

-Intimacy Level 5
Hachi: I plan to visit General Will on this leave. So you know the General too!
Hachi: General praised you and wanted me to learn much from you!
Hachi: General knows talent when he sees one, so you must be a competent and nice person!
Hachi: I'll visit you often, hope you don't mind!

-Intimacy Level 6
Hachi: You got nice fruit wine!
Hachi: I taste alcohol and it quenches thirst, but doesn't hit you like a sledgehammer!
Hachi: Yes, this is good, you can drink as much as you want without getting tipsy!
Hachi: Any other flavor? Two more glasses, please!
Hachi: I'll take it back and shared with the guys in the unit!
Hachi: No, I can't take it for free. I got money, I can pay.
Hachi: Hey, where's my money? Where did it go?
Hachi: Damn it, who stole my money again?!
Hachi: Wait, are you saying it's free?
Hachi: Really? Thank you, buddy!
Hachi: Call me if you need backup in a fight and I'll be there!

-Intimacy Level 7
Hachi: It's too hot! Why are we training in the jungle?
Hachi: Bugs and wild animals aren't a problem at all.
Hachi: It's the heat, way too hot whether day or night!
Hachi: Rainfall makes it bearable, but it gets hot again right after.
Hachi: And it's also humid as hell...
Hachi: The General said you're smart and knowledgeable.
Hachi: Got any ideas?
Player: Well, have you tried portable fan?
Hachi: You mean the mini ones you can carry with you?
Player: Yeah!
Hachi: No, that doesn't work.
Hachi: Both of our hands are occupied during training, can't carry a fan.
Hachi: Not that its very little air output matters.
Player: How about cooling spray, then?
Hachi: What's a cooling spray? That sounds good, though.
Player: Wait here while I get it.
Scene transition
Player: It's a blend of medical alcohol and menthol.
Player: The alcohol absorbs heat to lower body temperature.
Hachi: I don't understand it.
Hachi: But that sounds useful!
Player: Yeah. Spray it on your clothes and it will last several hours!
Hachi: Really? Let me try it!
Player: Wait, this could hurt your skin. You should wear something...
Hachi: Wear what?
Player: Don't you have training uniforms?
Hachi: Why would anyone want something so hot?
Hachi: There was no one around in the jungle but us.
Hachi: I don't usually wear clothes.
Hachi: I only put it on so I could see you.
Player: Uh, direct contact will burn your skin...
Player: Want me to figure something else out?
Hachi: Nah, I can take it, I got thick skin.
Hachi: Come on, hand it over!
You shrug and hand the spray to Hachi.
Hachi sprays the solution all over himself like he was showering.
Hachi: Wow, this is wonderful!
Hachi: Yes, I can feel myself cooling down!
Player: Whoa, take it easy now!
Hachi: It does nothing for me otherwise!
Hachi: Thanks, bro, this is great stuff!
Hachi: The guys are complaining about the heat too. I'll get them to try it out!
Hachi: See you!

-Intimacy Level 8
Hachi: I'm back, bro!
Hachi: The guys loved the wine I brought back!
Hachi: But I feel bad keep coming back and taking from you...
Hachi: So, mind showing me how you make it?
Hachi: Come on, teach me, I'll be a good student!

-Intimacy Level 9
Hachi: Bro, I heard you got hurt fighting the Shadow!
Hachi: How come you didn't ask me to join the fight?
Hachi: Then didn't tell me you're hurt!
Hachi: Tell me, who hurt you?
Hachi: Never mind, where did you get hurt?
Hachi: I'll go kill those Shadows right now!
Hachi: Why? Do you doubt my ability?
Hachi: I'll have you know I'm the captain of Shadowhunter's 'Bloodrunners' special squad!
Hachi: Our goal is to pay the Shadow back with blood and destruction!
Hachi: Just check around, even with the Shadows.
Hachi: Everyone's heard of us the 'Bloodrunners' and our exploits!
Hachi: Quick, tell me where the Shadows are and I'll kill them all for you!

-Intimacy Level 10
Hachi: Look what I got for you, buddy!
Hachi: I've been hunting with the guys the last few days and we had a good haul!
Hachi: Come, nice things are meant to be shared with friends!
Hachi: Got wild boar meat here. Take however much you want.
Hachi: Fry, stir-fry, roast, stew... Tasty in every way!
Hachi: Check this out, the bile of an Elysiann king cobra!
Hachi: It's technically a cobra, but actually bigger than a python.
Hachi: See, even the bile is nearly as big as you noggin!
Hachi: It's yours!
Hachi: It goes with booze or alone. It's very healthy for you too.
Hachi: And some trinkets and accessories.
Hachi: Jungle tiger hide, antelope horns...
Hachi: All for you. Take it, I've taken enough of your wine, anyway.
Hachi: Got to go back and train. See you later!
Hachi: Just have the booze ready for me as usual!

-Intimacy Level 11
Hachi: Why is it so hard to control my temper?
Hachi: I rarely get angry at the General, and Eddie too.
Hachi: Eddie never loses it as long as Miles doesn't provoke him.
Hachi: You seem mild-mannered too.
Hachi: I've never seen you get mad all this time I've known you.
Hachi: How do all of you do that?
Player: Heh, I lose temper when I get mad too.
Player: It's just I don't get mad easily.
Player: I see anger as punishing yourself with mistakes others made.
Player: You don't have to, if you learn to tolerate.
Hachi: I know, but I don't think about these things when I get angry!
Hachi: It's no big deal, really.
Hachi: One of the guys in my unit came in last in cross-country drill.
Hachi: Endurance drill is next, yet he had the gall to ask for a break!
Hachi: He's awful to start with. How does he expect to fight Shadows if he takes so many breaks?
Hachi: ... Was I too mean there?
Player: I think you come off mean even when you're just a bit angry!
Player: That's very fitting for the captain of the 'Bloodrunners'. Even Shadows would be afraid of you.
Hachi: You can never be too angry against Shadows.
Hachi: But I could improve when dealing with the guys.
Hachi: I scolded and almost struck him...
Hachi: I restrained myself, but that's because he admitted to mistake.
Hachi: Sigh... I could feel energy coursing through me when I get mad.
Hachi: The General taught me some anger management techniques, but none worked.
Hachi: I don't think I can control my temper if I can't control the energy.
Player: Ever thought of getting rid of the energy?
Hachi: Rid of it? Like making it disappear?
Player: Yeah, sort of.
Hachi: No way, the energy comes with temper.
Hachi: It comes in very handy when killing Shadows!
Hachi: Without that energy, I won't be as effective!
Player: Hmm. You mean it might be a kind of flux?
Hachi: Yeah, very likely!
Player: If so, I got the solution!
Player: Try this on!
Scene transition
Hachi: What's this?
Player: It's called the 'Flux Bracelet'.
Player: Master Turing made this to replace Hart's Flux Battery.
Player: It's not Flux Battery, but the bracelet is lighter.
Player: Hart didn't want to give up the Flux Battery Hou made him, so Master Turing gave this to me.
Hachi: I know Turing, but who are Hart and Hou?
Hachi: And what are the battery and bracelet you're talking about?
Player: It absorbs and stores the rampaging Flux in you, and when you need to...
Player: You can unleash the energy with the bracelet.
Hachi: You mean, when I get angry, the rage will go into the bracelet?
Player: You could say that. Then just make a fist to unleash the energy!
Player: But once it hits max capacity, you can't put any more into it.
Player: It will make cackling noises.
Player: Then stop taking in Flux.
Hachi: Let me try...
Hachi: So I put the bracelet on my hand?
Hachi: Will it fit?
Player: Uh, guess Hart had a smaller wrist. As for you...
Player: Wear it like a ring.
Hachi puts the Flux Bracelet on his finger.
Player: There you go. Now, think of something that makes you mad.
Player: Like a Shadow that just massacred innocents.
Player: He butchered the whole village. Men, women, children... No one lived.
Hachi: ...
Player: Not only that, he ambushed your unit...
Player: And killed many of your guys...
Player: Then said the Bloodrunners are garbage, not fit to even sniff the Shadow's jock...
Hachi: What?! Die!!!
Flux Bracelet: Beep beep beep!
Player: Stop, the bracelet is at capacity!
Hachi: I can't. Once I get angry, it's not easy to...
Hachi: Huh?
Hachi: It's under control!
Player: Success!
Player: Are you still feeling the Flux in you?
Hachi: A little bit, but it's controllable!
Hachi: The Flux concentrated in my hand. I feel I can punch through this wall right now!
Player: Don't do that, you'll leave a hole in the ship!
Hachi: Of course I won't, I was just saying!
Hachi: This is good stuff! How much is it?
Player: I got no use for it myself, so it's yours.
Hachi: You sure?
Player: Didn't you say we're bros?
Player: You didn't charge me for the wild games you brought me.
Hachi: Okay!
Hachi: Thanks, buddy!

-Intimacy Level 12
Hachi: I've been pondering lately, bro.
Hachi: Should I be human or an animal.
Hachi: What kind of expression is that?
Hachi: Do I really look like someone who would never ponder questions like this?
Hachi: It came to me when I was having a hard time sleeping one night.
Hachi: I couldn't figure it out for two whole weeks.
Hachi: I want to be a polite, talented human like the General!
Hachi: But I know that's way too hard, with too many restraints and too much stress.
Hachi: I felt helpless when I saw the General holding it on many times.
Hachi: I don't know if I'm forcing anyone's hand here.
Hachi: It's animal instinct, like when I'm slaughtering Shadows. Gosh, that feels good...
Hachi: General thought it would fit me well, that's why he recommended me to the Shadowhunters.
Hachi: This way I can suppress my animal instinct, help the world and be accepted at the same time.
Hachi: I'd prefer to be more human, but I guess I was born with it.
Hachi: No idea what to do about it.
Hachi: You're wise, so I sought you out.
Hachi: What do you think I should do?
Player: A beast wouldn't worry so much at all.
Hachi: ... Huh?
Player: Well, let's do a simple comparison...
Player: Which self do you prefer, the you before meeting General Will, or the current you?
Hachi: The current me, of course!
Hachi: Are you saying you're human now, and an animal before?
Player: Yeah.
Player: You said it's hard to become someone like General Will. But aren't hard goals more meaningful to achieve?
Player: And humans are animals. Ferality and humanity are both a part of us.
Player: So, the question is essentially 'Should you forsake your humanity'.
Player: Do you want to forsake it?
Hachi: No, of course not!
Player: Isn't that it?
Hachi: ... Oh, yeah, yeah!
Hachi: I got it, bro, I got it!
Hachi: Thanks, man!

-Intimacy Level 13
Hachi: Hey, buddy, it's me again!
Hachi: It's good. I had a little to drink, but just a little.
Hachi: We caught a Shadow underboss today. The guys went out and celebrated.
Hachi: They're all asleep now. But I'm still awake so I thought I'd visit.
Hachi: I don't know why I came, either, since I don't have anything to say.
Hachi: Chuck it up to because I like seeing you!
Hachi: It feels comfortable to be with you.
Hachi: So I want to be with you.
Hachi: You show me so many new things, like cooling sprays, Flux bracelets...
Hachi: These are all good stuff!
Hachi: You have a calming effect on me. Whatever anger I had would dissipate when I see you.
Hachi: Not only do you fight well, you're smart and taught me a lot of things.
Hachi: ... You won't hear it from my stupid mouth again.
Hachi: Anyway, I feel comfortable when I'm with you!

Hachi: Brother, I've come to Never Isle on holiday.
Hachi: Let's go out and have fun!
Player: All right. But don't you want to go pay a visit to General Will first?
Hachi: Haha, how could I forget something like that?
Hachi: I already paid him a visit!
Hachi: Let's go out and have fun!
Player: Let's go!

Player: How long have you been gone?
Hachi: About two years.
Player: Why so long? It's not like your unit had to keep defending a certain spot...
Player: I remember you get quite a few leaves.
Hachi: Yeah, but the General was never here when I was off, so no point in coming back.
Hachi: So even though I stayed here longer than you...
Hachi: But I have no clue what's good to eat or fun to visit on the island now.
Hachi: You decide. I'll go wherever you want!
Player: Okay...

-Let's gorge! - 900 Intimacy
Hachi: Perfect, I'm starving!
Hachi: What are we having?
Hachi: Whether going out or eating in, it's on me!
Player: Whoa, you know how to cook?
Hachi: Just meat dishes!
Hachi: Roasted, fried, steamed, braised, stewed... I know it all!
Player: Wow, impressive!
Hachi: Well, it didn't start off that way...
Hachi: I didn't know better than to eat raw meat when I was young, until...
Hachi: My first time eating cooked meat and found it incredibly tasty.
Hachi: So I caught the cook and forced him to teach me everything he knew.
Hachi: I wasn't letting him go until I learned.
Hachi: So that's how and where I picked it up!
Player: Isn't that kidnapping?
Hachi: No, don't be ridiculous!
Hachi: It's all out of his own volition!
Hachi: Basically, all he did was talk.
Hachi: I did all the hunting, cutting, and cooking. He just had to talk me through it.
Hachi: Then he would have food!
Hachi: If that's kidnapping, someone should kidnap me!
Player: You got me there!
Player: But are you starved today?
Player: It's going to take too long to make a meal.
Player: Let's just hit a restaurant. My treat!
Hachi: No way!
Player: Huh? Why not?
Hachi: My treat! Let me treat!
Player: Okay!

-Soak in hot spring? - 500 Intimacy
Hachi: Soak in a hot spring? Nah, not me!
Player: Wow, that's a swift rejection.
Hachi: Yeah.
Hachi: Hot springs are too hot to be any fun.
Hachi: It annoys me.
Player: ...
Hachi: Uh, was I too mean there?
Player: A little.
Hachi: ...
Hachi: I'm a straight shooter, hope you don't mind!
Player: It's cool. We'll think of something else.
Hachi: Nah, we can go to the hot spring.
Hachi: You looked like you wanted it, so I'll go along!
Hachi: The General told me not to be selfish and always be about me.
Hachi: That settles it. Let's go!

-The Rupor Show. - 700 Intimacy
Hachi: I know about the Rupor Show, it's always a full house.
Hachi: It was gone for a while but it's back again now.
Player: Yeah, the former host passed away, then his brother Rupol took over.
Hachi: Too bad, Rupor could really sing.
Hachi: But I think talent shows are boring.
Hachi: A bunch of people point at a person, judging how he dresses.
Hachi: Very boring.
Hachi: I don't get it. Everyone should be free to dress however they like.
Hachi: What's that got to do with you?
Player: Well, that's how talent shows are these days...
Player: But it's more than singing now. They added dancing and stage plays!
Hachi: Oh, I know stage plays!
Hachi: Good, the General and I like to watch plays.
Hachi: That settles it. We're going to a play!
Player: Let's go!

Fury

-Intro
Hachi: Brother, I'm in the Hottie Bar.
Hachi: Give me some fruit wine. I'd like to chat with you.
Player: I'm on it!
Scene transition
Player: You're drunk as skunk already... Gonna keep chugging?
Hachi: Fruity wines aren't wine.
Hachi: It's all right, I'm still on leave and got nothing to do.
Hachi: I came to ask you something.
Player: Go ahead, shoot.
Hachi: I went back home a couple days ago...
Hachi: Everyone knows I'm a Shadowhunter now, the kind that slays them for people...
Hachi: They bought me fine wine and set up a big feast for me out of respect.
Hachi: I and another fellow probably had too much to drink.
Hachi: Yeah, because something was bothering me, though I don't remember what it was now.
Hachi: Then I went off again.
Hachi: ... And gave him a good thrashing.
Hachi: Everyone ran off in fear.
Hachi: I just stood there not knowing what to do...
Hachi: Damn it, I ruined a good party again.
Hachi: I was fuming, at myself.
Hachi: Fuming over why I get mad so easily, which made me even madder...
Hachi: So mad, I broke the mayor's table.
Hachi: How do you think I can control it and keep my temper?
Player: Well, I think you should...

-Interact with Shadow more often - 900 Intimacy
Hachi: What? Why should I face the Shadow more often?
Hachi: I get angrier when I see Shadow coming!
Player: There you go, all you have to do, then, is take it out on the Shadow.
Player: Don't you feel better after killing some Shadow?
Hachi: That is the case!
Player: We all get angry sometimes, it's unavoidable.
Player: Don't keep it pant up. Vent and let it out and it'll be fine.
Hachi: That makes sense.
Player: And when you realized what the Shadows have done...
Player: When you compare those you find annoying around you to the Shadow...
Player: You'll see they're not so bad after all and much easier to tolerate!
Player: That way you won't be so annoyed anymore!
Hachi: True that, bro!
Hachi: Let me take notes so I won't forget!
Player: You don't need to, do you?
Hachi: Why not?
Hachi: It's terrible for me to lose my temper. I'll hurt others.
Hachi: It's a Shadowhunter's duty to protect people, but it's the opposite when I get angry!
Hachi: I got to jot down every suggestion and read it every day, especially before I get mad.
Hachi: I can be calm, I'm sure!
Hachi: Just like that tigerman from the Blue Star... What's his name again?
Player: Lin Hu?
Hachi: Yes. He's gentle. We're all tigers, yet he's much better than me!
Player: Well, you'll have more restraint, too, if you work at it.
Hachi: I will. Thanks, buddy!

-Quit drinking - 700 Intimacy
Hachi: I did quit.
Player: But you're having a glass right now...
Hachi: Come on, this really shouldn't count as alcohol!
Hachi: I was truly an alcoholic before, downing several bottles of the heavy stuff a day!
Player: Really?
Hachi: Yeah. I couldn't stop until I was totally slushed back then.
Hachi: Then the General helped me quit.
Hachi: Drinking this is like drinking apple juice to me now. I can't get drunk on it.
Hachi: And I didn't get drunk at my old house that day, either.
Hachi: Alcohol wasn't the problem, it was me.
Hachi: I lose my temper and become violent far too easily.
Hachi: I get mad when I see people do bad deeds, and when someone talked bad about me...
Hachi: I could lose it even when the weather got too hot!
Hachi: But it's no problem for me to quit drinking.
Hachi: The more you drink, the more you want!
Hachi: And while I can drink like a fish, others can't!
Hachi: That fellow wouldn't have offended me if he didn't drink so much.
Hachi: I'll turn down any offer to go drinking next time!
Player: What's that you got in your hand?
Hachi: No, this one doesn't count!
Hachi: Come on, just let me down this one. There won't be a second!

-Read the Ka Bible - 500 Intimacy
Hachi: Ka Bible? What's fun about reading that?
Hachi: It's nothing but myths and tall tales, some outright lies.
Hachi: It's too boring to read.
Player: Well, reading it would develop your patience.
Hachi: ... True, I didn't think of that...
Hachi: All right, bro, I hear you.
Hachi: I'll start reading tomorrow!
Player: Good!

A Lie

-Intro
Hachi: Brother, I've finally found you!
Hachi: Help me out. What should I do?
Player: What's the problem?
Scene transition
Hachi: Sigh. I let the General made me a list of books to read on my last leave...
Hachi: But I haven't even read one book yet.
Player: Really? Is it because it's too dry and boring?
Hachi: Yeah. I couldn't read books like that without the General watching over my shoulder.
Hachi: Actually, I'd love to read. I need to read more, so...
Hachi: I can become a great leader like him.
Hachi: ... Man, what should I do?
Hachi: I swore I would read them all.
Hachi: This would make me an oathbreaker!
Hachi: He will be disappointed in me for sure.
Hachi: So, do you think I should lie to him?
Hachi: I'll said I'm almost done.
Hachi: I'll finish it for certain after I get back, anyway.
Hachi: Well, I know it's not good to lie, but it's just a little one, right?

-The General will see right through it. - 700 Intimacy
Player: Okay, given how smart and perceptive General Will is...
Player: It would be a cinch to see through your lies...
Hachi: Yes. No way I sneak it by him if I don't read the books, much less lying about it...
Hachi: That will only make him more disappointed in me.
Player: Yeah. You should forget about that.
Hachi: You're right. No lies.
Hachi: Thanks, buddy, for saving me from a terrible mistake!
Player: No sweat.
Hachi: I'll tell the General the truth, and I'll treat you to a nice meal when I get back!
Hachi: I should stick to it and finish reading all the books!
Player: You go, man!

-It's okay if the result's the same. - 500 Intimacy
Player: I mean, you'll finish them eventually, anyway, so it's not lying.
Hachi: Really? You don't think that's lying?
Player: Nope.
Hachi: Okay!
Hachi: I trust you, buddy.
Hachi: I'll go tell the General I've read everything now.
Hachi: Then I'll do just that after I get back!
Hachi: Thanks, buddy!
Player: No sweat.

-The General will appreciate your honesty more. - 900 Intimacy
Hachi: ...
Player: Have you every lied to the General?
Hachi: Uh, I don't think so.
Hachi: Wait, no, I did once!
Hachi: I lied to him about not drinking, but he could smell it on my breath.
Hachi: Then he asked me why lie to him.
Hachi: I said I didn't want him to get mad at me for drinking again.
Hachi: Then... Yeah, then the General said...
Hachi: It's wrong to drink already, and you're adding more problems.
Hachi: It's even worse lying about it right after drinking!
Player: The General was right in calling you out.
Player: Just think if he hadn't...
Player: You'd not only feel it's okay to drink, but get away with lying.
Player: You'd both drink and lie way more often!
Player: It's easy to do it again after you've done it once.
Player: And it's true being a liar usually get you more than being honest...
Player: Which is why it's getting harder to find anyone who's truthful.
Player: Honesty' is becoming a precious, rare commodity!
Player: So if you lie again, General Will will be greatly disappointed in you.
Hachi: No way, I can't do that!
Hachi: I shouldn't lie then, got to be honest to the General!
Player: Yup!
Hachi: Thanks for the talk, buddy!
Hachi: That's a big mistake I almost made.
Hachi: I'll treat you to a nice meal when I get back!
Hachi: Then finish reading the books!
Player: All right, you go!

Temper

-Intro
Player: Hachi wrote to us? Let's see what he said ...
Player: Handwriting on the letter is messy, with many marks and corrections.
Player: The words 'Hey brother' seem to be have been scratched out.
Player: 'You have never seen this letter'
Player: Umm ... never?
Player: The sentence 'Long time no see, I really want to drink with you!!' has also been scratched out.
Player: 'Let's catch up, when will you be free?'
Player: (Reply to Hachi: let's find a time)
Scene transition
Player: Captain Hachi, why did you write to me?
Player: Just come find me if you want a drink.
Hachi: No no, we should make an appointment beforehand to avoid inconveniences
Hachi: (Staring at Hottie and the shaker)
Hachi: Also, I came to catch up today... not to drink...
Player: My man you don't seem alright.
Player: Your letter is strange enough already, but not as strange as you!
Hachi: No, you'll get used to it.
Hachi: I will treat people kindly.
Player: What?
Player: Hachi, what in the world is wrong?
Hachi: It's nothing, mate.
Hachi: I need to change myself, General Will has always criticized my bad temper
Hachi: The general said, beating one's own temper is more difficult than defeating an entire army.
Hachi: Honestly, I'd rather fight an entire army.
Player: General Will was just making a figurative comparison, you don't have to fight anybody.
Hachi: Anyway, I need to change.
Hachi: You will get used to the new me.
Player: Now that we're here already, let's have a drink.
Hachi: Um... how about...
Hachi: Not today... I came here just to see you today.
Hachi: (Staring intensely at Hottie)
Player: I know you are correcting your temper and all, did you have to give up drinking too?
Hachi: I tend to lose control if I drink, I just can't.
Hachi: (Still staring at Hottie)

-Choice A: Then just have a little. Hottie! Bring 2 Light of Lights.
Go to Part 2

-Choice B: If you insist, I won't force it. - 700 Intimacy
Hachi: Oh? Ok.
Player: What?
Hachi: No drinking is good.
Hachi: I came today just to... uh, catch up!
Hachi: How have you been lately?
Player: Not bad, same old same old. You?
Hachi: I'm doing well.
Hachi: What do you do now?
Player: Clearing flux shocks for Never Isle, running deliveries for the Order of Equality.
Player: Fighting for the Oathblades, checking out the Rupor Show.
Player: How about you, Hachi?
Hachi: Me? Just training all day with the brothers.
Hachi: Live long, train hard!
Player: ...
Hachi: ...
Hachi: Catching up seems...
Player: Boring...
Player: How about we find something fun to do on Never Isle?
Hachi: Okay... okay...
Scene ends

-Part 2
Hachi: No... I can't drink!
Player: Your expression sold you out a long time ago.
Player: One drink won't have any effect, don't stress.
Hachi: Okay okay, just one drink then.
Hachi: (Hachi's eyes are popping out while staring at the Light of Lights)
Hachi: (He downs the whole drink in one gulp)
When Hachi is drinking, you notice a red string tied to his right wrist.
Hachi doesn't usually wear clothes when training and only wears his armor when he's out.
The red string on his wrist seems very off.
Player: Hottie! Please bring us two more Light in the Lights.
Hachi: Awesome!
Hachi: Um... no I really can't.
Player: I know your alcohol tolerance, just relax and drink.
Hachi: Haha, just a little more then?
Player: Bottoms up.
Hachi: (Takes one more beer)
Player: Spill it, what's going on.
Player: First you write to me, then you say that you are correcting your temper and giving up booze.
Player: You even has a red string tied to your hand.
Hachi: Really... I'm fine...
Choice - (Continue interrogating)
Player: Hachi, this is so not you.
Player: I have always treated you as a brother, a best friend.
Player: How could you be hiding something from me?
Hachi: This thing... I haven't even told the brothers in my squadron.
Hachi: Ah!
Player: I knew something was up.
Hachi: ...
Choice - (Move on to another subject)
Player: If you don't feel like talking about it, let's just catch up then.
Hachi: Catching up is good.
Player: How can you find time to come to Hottie Bar with all that Shadowhunters business?
Hachi: I have been on a break.
Player: You've been on a break?
Player: You Shadowhunters have breaks?
Hachi: Actually it's just me.
Player: Eh?
Hachi: My commander said I'm not at my best.
Hachi: Let me put off the Bloodrunners business for a second.
Hachi: Let me come out here and relax.
Player: So you got suspended?
Hachi: Suspended? What is that?
Player: What you are doing right now is getting suspended!
Hachi: If leaving the Shadowhunters can protect my brothers,
Hachi: then I will leave
Player: How can you protect your brothers if you leave the Shadowhunters?
Player: You are confusing me more and more these days.
Conversation continues after choices
Hachi: I had a nightmare a couple of days earlier.
Hachi: I received intel that a nearby village was targeted by the Shadow.
Hachi: Our squadron was in charge of protecting the village.
Hachi: Our orders were to hold on until the reinforcements arrive.
Hachi: A few Shadow soldiers came forward and started talking smack.
Hachi: They were badmouthing the Shadowhunters, me, Captain Will and even you.
Hachi: It got me really mad, so I charged out with half the brothers.
Hachi: We fell into the Shadow's trap.
Hachi: I was the only one to come back alive.
Hachi: After I ran back to the village, I saw that all the brothers were dead.
Hachi: The Bloodrunners were wiped out, just like that.
Player: That's...
Player: It's nothing but a dream, take it easy.
Hachi: I thought so too.
Hachi: But later we went to Kaigon,
Hachi: and I met an old fortune teller on the street.
Hachi: He immediately called out my name,
Hachi: and correctly listed everything I've done during that time, even my purpose in Kaigon.
Player: Wow, impressive!
Hachi: I was really impressed, so I asked him for a read.
Hachi: He said that due to my bad temper.
Hachi: I had amassed too much hateful energy in my body.
Hachi: If I didn't change my ways, the hateful energy would one day explode.
Hachi: It would kill everyone who is dear to me.
Player: That... is a bit over the top.
Hachi: He even saw into my future.
Hachi: The future he saw was exactly like what happened in my dream that day.
Hachi: I panicked and asked him for a cure.
Hachi: He said that he needed the Black Dragonshard as a medium to seek a cure with the Kai gods.
Hachi: So I gave him all the Black Dragonshards I had on me.
Player: Black Dragonshard as a medium?
Player: Um...
Hachi: He tied this red string to my wrist.
Hachi: and said that I must start treating everyone with courtesy and respect.
Hachi: I also can't drink, curse nor do immoral things.
Hachi: until the day the red string falls off.
Hachi: I'm not afraid to die.
Hachi: Being able to die in a fierce battle doesn't faze me at all.
Hachi: But I can't put my brothers in danger.
Player: So that's why you wrote the letter and gave up drinking.
Hachi: Ok.

-Choice A: That guy is a fraud!
Player: Brother, you have been fooled.
Player: I have never heard of any fortune teller in Kaigon.
Player: I have never seen anyone use Black Dragonshard as medium in rituals of the Kai gods.
Player: The original Black Dragonshards do have magical powers.
Player: But those made into currency are just regular money.
Player: I think the old man was just out to scam you.
Hachi: But... how did he know my name?
Hachi: and see through my temper issues.
Player: Names can be investigated.
Player: Tall and strong Tiger Gyees are uncommon in Luxium.
Player: Not to mention everyone can tell your personality just from your appearance.
Player: Throw in your harsh voice, it's so easy to deduct that you have temper issues.
Hachi: But the thing is... he knew about what I did for the past days.
Hachi: You don't think he followed me for days just to scam my Black Dragonshard?
Hachi: I'm a Shadowhunter, I can sense it when I'm being followed.
Hachi: Even if he followed me for a few days.
Hachi: How could he have known about my dream?
Player: Well...

-Choice A.1: Alright, maybe the guy has some powers.
Hachi: I'm lucky to have met that master.
Hachi: General Will has always criticized me about my temper.
Hachi: I must change now!
Hachi: I can't put my brothers in harm's way.
Player: Your brothers don't want to see you lose yourself either.
Hachi: What does that mean?
Player: You are Hachi.
Player: Rugged but kind at heart, likes to drink, likes to fight.
Player: You know love and hatred, you never let crime go unpunished. You are fearless and fearsome, enemies crumble in your presence.
Player: Now that's the Hachi we know.
Player: We like this carefree version of you.
Hachi: But General Will wants me to learn tolerance and restraint.
Player: But General Will saw the power brought out by your temper.
Player: That's why he asked you to join the Shadowhunters.
Player: Do you know Bernard?
Hachi: We have met before. He's also an excellent Shadowhunter.
Player: He said that you are a dagger, one that plunges right into the enemy's heart
Player: Daggers like you can't afford to be hesitant.
Hachi: !!!
Player: With power, the one who has to have restraint and tolerance in order to achieve great things is General Will.
Player: With power, the one who has to let go to defeat the Shadow is you, Hachi.
Player: I can't tell if the fortune teller is right or wrong.
Player: But I know everyone must remain steadfast in their own ways.
Hachi: ...
Hachi: You talk like General Will... a little hard to understand.
Player: Huh?
Hachi: But I think I get your point.
Hachi: I have been so repressed for the past couple of days. No drinking, no cursing.
Hachi: The brothers all think that I'm sick.
Hachi: I don't want to live like this.
Hachi: (Rips off the red string.)
Hachi: Hottie! Twelve Lonely Deserts for me!
Hachi: We don't go home until we are wasted today!
Scene ends

-Choice A.2: He might be a spy for the Shadow! - 900 Intimacy
Hachi: What? Impossible!
Hachi: It's Kaigon we are talking about. The whole place is shielded by a force field.
Hachi: Any Shadow who attempts to break through the force field would be obliterated.
Hachi: Us Shadowhunters can detect Shadow energy too.
Player: But Shadow believers aren't all Shadow.
Player: Many people were regular humans before joining the cult.
Hachi: What!
Hachi: I have never thought of that!
Player: I now suspect that your dream was also planted by the Shadow.
Player: That might not be a dream at all!
Player: The Shadow wants to break the Shadowhunters from within.
Hachi: What?!
Hachi: These bastards! So despicable!
Hachi: I'm going to rip them apart!
Hachi: Roar!!!
Player: Now that's the Hachi we know.
Player: But that thing on your right wrist.
Hachi: Ugh this garbage! ROAR!
Hachi: (Rips off the red string and stomps on it)
Scene ends

-Choice C: Where did you meet this guy? Tell me!
Hachi: At the Holy Light Plaza in Kaigon.
Hachi: What are you going to do?

-Choice C.1: I'm going to kill that guy! He scammed my brother!
Player: Brother, you have been fooled.

Hachi flied into a rage in the canteen. What went wrong?

-Part 1
Scene - Never Isle
Player stands outside a restaurant
Hachi: What did you say?!
Player: Is that Hachi?
Hachi: What else did the guy say?!
Customer A: Well, you can let me go first...
Customer A: We can talk this out, just let go of me...
Hachi: Make it fast!
Customer A: He also said...
Customer A: 'Have some bullets, they're quite valuable!'
Customer B: That's right, he didn't just owe money and didn't pay it back, he beat up Eddie, then said:
Customer B: 'Why are you all lying on the ground for? I didn't leave any money there.'
Hachi: Roar! Despicable, totally despicable!
Hachi: Agh!
Clanking and crashing noises are heard inside the restaurant.
Restaurant Owner: My table! My vase!
Customer B: Big Tiger is angry! Run!
Hachi: ... How dare he bully my brother! I'll show him to never make that mistake again!
Hachi: Roar!!
Customer C: How terrifying!
Customers run out of the restaurant
Customer C: Wait, is the tiger man General Will's guard?
Restaurant Owner: General Will's guard? The guy wrecking my shop is from the Order of Equality?
Hachi: ...
Hachi: Oh, Sorry!
Hachi: It's only a little. Why the fuss?
Hachi: I'll compensate you tomorrow at double their worth!
Restaurant Owner: Um, you should stay and go over it with me...
Hachi: I got to go stand up for my bro today and don't have the time!
Hachi: Are you trying to stop me?
Restaurant Owner: No, I wouldn't dare...
Hachi: Then get out of the way!
Hachi barges out of the restaurant but Player stops him
Hachi: Oh, it's you. Why are you stopping me?

Hachi: I'm gonna beat him to a pulp!
Hachi: I'll explain after I finish beating him up!
Choice 1.2 - Just calm down. - 5 Intimacy
Hachi: Calm down?
Hachi: Miles mistreated my bro, how can you tell me to calm down?!
Hachi: I must teach him a lesson today!
Hachi: I'll explain after I finish beating him up!
Choice 1.3 - I'll help you fight him! - 8 Intimacy
Hachi: Okay, let's go!
Hachi: Let's go to the Oathblades!
Hachi: That Miles bullied Eddie and I'm gonna beat him to a pulp!
Conversation continues after choices
Player: Wait, Miles and Eddie?
Player: Should we meddle in their business?
Hachi: Why shouldn't we?
Hachi: Eddie is my bro!
Hachi: Other than the General, he treated me the best I was with the Order of Equality!
Hachi: I can't ignore it when he was bullied!
Player: Anyone picking on Eddie is my business, but if it's Miles...
Hachi: What's wrong with Miles?
Hachi: The guy always liked to bully Eddie and give him a hard time, making him mad!
Hachi: I've disliked that white-haired puppy for a long time!
Hachi: He borrowed money, and when Eddie came to collect, he struck him!
Hachi: I can't believe scum like him exist!
Hachi: I'm furious! He really got me riled up this time!
-Choice 2.1 - Maybe there's a reason?
Hachi: What reason could he have?
Player: I don't know, but he may still have a reason since I don't know the situation.
Player: It would be wise to ask Eddie first.

-Choice 2.2 - Who did you hear it from and is it reliable?
Hachi: Those two guys in the restaurant!
Hachi: But they both ran off.
Hachi: Forget it, I'll go confront Miles right now!
Player: What if it isn't true?
Player: It would be wise to ask Eddie first.

-Choice 2.3 - Wait, isn't this a story plot on Rupor's Show?
Hachi: The Rupor's Show?
Hachi: Isn't that the drag show?
Player: It includes vignettes now. They could be discussing a story plot...
Hachi: Vignette? How would that be possible?
Player: Why don't we ask them?
Hachi: But they both ran off.
Hachi: Forget it!
Hachi: I'll just go confront Miles!
Player: I think it would be safer to ask Eddie first.

-Choice 2.4 - Eddie and Miles have an unusual relationship...
Hachi: Fishy? What's fishy about it?
Player: Well, they are...
Choice 2.4.1 - Pals.
Hachi: Pals? What does that mean?
Player: They are closer than just friends.
Player: So it's probably a misunderstanding or it's not true...
Player: Don't be brash. Ask Eddie first.
Choice 2.4.2 - Childhood buddies.
Hachi: Childhood buddies?
Hachi: What's that?
Player: They grew up as friends.
Hachi: I remember, they both used to be in the Young Azrians!
Player: So it's probably a misunderstanding or it's not true...
Player: Don't be brash. Ask Eddie first.
Choice 2.4.3 - Rival.
Hachi: Rivals? Perfect!
Hachi: As they say, what goes around comes around!
Hachi: I'll go deliver comeuppance for Eddie!
Player: Wait, no, not that kind of rival!
Hachi: What? What's the difference?
Player: It's a complicated.
Player: Don't be impulsive. Ask Eddie first.
Choice 2.4.4 - Forget it, nothing significant.
Hachi: Why are you still holding me back, then?
Hachi: ... No, how could they not have a relationship? They've known each other since childhood.
Player: It's complicated.
Player: When people ask them what it is between them, they say they don't have a relationship.
Player: I suggest you ask Eddie instead of acting impulsively.
Conversation continues after choices
Hachi: ... All right, I'll listen to you, bro.
Hachi: Let's go see Eddie!
Player: Okay.
Hachi and Player rush to the Order of Equality
Hachi: Eddie! Eddie!
Hachi: Come out, Eddie!
An Order of Equality Musketeer comes out
Order of Equality Musketeer: Excuse me, are you looking for Eddie?
Hachi: Never mind and get him out here!
Order of Equality Musketeer: Eddie is out of the office today and won't be back for a while.
Hachi: I can't wait, I'm burning with rage!
Hachi: Screw it, I'm not waiting!
Hachi: Let's go settle the score with Miles!
Player: What?
Hachi rushes to the Oathblades Headquarters
Order of Equality Musketeer: What is going on?
Player: That guy is going to beat up Miles on Eddie's behalf.
Order of Equality Musketeer: What happened between Eddie and Miles?
Player: I'll explain later, I have to stop him now!
Player runs to catch up with Hachi
Hachi: Get out here, Miles!
Hachi: Bastard!
Hachi: Come out here if you got balls!
Miles comes out
Miles: Who's the piece of crap calling me out?!
Hachi: What did you call me?!
Player: Take it easy, everyone...
Hachi: You frigging take it easy!
Hachi: I'm gonna rip this white puppy apart today!! Roar!!!
Miles: I see. Aren't you Hachi?
Miles: A former guard of Will's. Aren't you with the Shadowhunters now?
Hachi: Call him General! General Will!
Miles: General? He may be your general, but he's not ours.
Hachi: Roar!!!
Hachi rushes Miles but Player goes between them
Hachi: Step aside!
Player: Calm down, man.
Player: Stop pouring gas on fire, Miles.
Miles: Why should I?
Miles: He barged in and acted indignant, so why should I give him respect?
Hachi: How dare you bully Eddie? Of course I want justice!
Miles: Eddie? You're tight with him?
Miles: Why don't you tell me how I bullied him?
Hachi: You owe him money and hurt him!
Miles: I did what?
Player: See, didn't I say Miles didn't...
Hachi: Still lying! Despicable!
Hachi: Roar! Go to Hell!
Miles: Come, I haven't had a decent opponent in a while!
Miles gets into a fighting stance
Miles: Everyone out of the way, I want him all to myself.
Oathblades Soldier: Yes, sir!
Player: You two...
Hachi: Get out of my way, man!
Miles: This has nothing to do with you, Player.
Miles: Step aside, you're blocking my shot.
Player: (What to do now?)
Player: (Hachi is too angry to listen. The more said, the angrier he gets...)
Player: (Hachi did instigate it, but Miles isn't going to back off, either.)
Player: (He seems itching to fight Hachi, so he won't listen to me.)
Player: (Gotta get someone to help, but who?)
Choices start

Player: (But if this takes a bad turn, won't he feel even worse?)

-Part 2
Player runs off to find Mira leaving Hachi and Miles to fight for now
Miles: Out of the way now?
Miles: Why are you standing still when the meddler is out of the way?
Hachi: Roar!!
Scene - Defense Force Headquarters
Player: Hachi and Miles are fighting, Mira!
Mira: Who? Hachi?
Mira: ... The Hachi who was Will's guard and now is a Shadowhunter?
Player: Yes.
Mira is told what happened.
Mira: Those two won't ever consider sorting out the misunderstanding.
Mira: They only care about winning the fight.
Mira: You two split up and look for Eddie.
Defense Force Soldier: Yes!
Mira: We have to stop them, Player.
Mira and Player rush to the fight (Note: there is a very long pause at this point)
Scene - Oathblades Headquarters
Bystander A: This tiger is fierce enough to give Miles a run for his money!
Bystander B: It's rare to see someone going toe-to-toe with Miles.
Bystander A: Isn't that handsome man from otherworld more powerful?
Bystander A: What's his name again? Player?
Bystander C: There's no comparison. He has Master Az's Wheel of Fate!
Bystander C: The tiger isn't a pushover. Isn't he a captain with the Shadowhunters?
Bystander B: Yeah, no wonder he can fight!
Bystander A: Uh, what is it between him and Eddie?
Bystander D: Didn't the tiger used to be General Will's guard?
Bystander D: I remember seeing him around Never Isle a few years back.
Bystander A: Yes, that's Hachi!
Hachi: Is that all you got?
Hachi: Now I'll get serious!
Hachi: Give up now if you don't want to get hurt! Don't say I didn't warn you!
Miles: Hurt?
Miles: It can't be a fight without someone getting hurt!
Miles: Why, are you afraid of me crippling you?
Miles: Give up if you ain't got the guts. We're all Gyee, we'll just laugh it off at worst.
Hachi: Roar!! Who are you calling a coward?!
Miles: Give me your best shot if you got the guts!
Hachi: Roar!!!
Bystander B: Wow, round two!
Bystander A: Hachi is getting serious!
Mira: Stop!
Mira: This is Defense Force business. Everyone stay back!
Mira and Player rush in to stop the fight
Hachi: What's going on?
Hachi: Why did you get Captain Mira involved?
Player: Well, I was afraid your fight would escalate into something worse.
Miles: Come on, what could happen?
Miles: He challenged me, and I happened to need a decent opponent.
Miles: Wasn't that perfect?
Miles: So you'd rather mess with me than spar with me...
Player: I'll spar with you another day, but not today.
Miles: Not today?
Miles: He came to stir up trouble on my turf.
Hachi: What do you have to say about bullying my buddy Eddie?!
Whispering Crowd: Look, the rumors are true, they're really fighting over Eddie!
Miles: Who's gossiping?
Miles: This gun can't shoot straight, so all you liars better watch out.
Whispering Crowd: Shh! The way Miles is acting, it's probably true...
Hachi: Hey, White Hair, don't change the topic and answer me!
Miles: Nothing to answer to. I already said it wasn't true.
Hachi: I think you need some motivation to speak honestly.
Mira: Stop it, now.
Mira: We're going down to the station to sort this out.
Mira: How would it look for captains of the Shadowhunters and the Oathblades to brawl on Never Isle?
Miles: Who's brawling?
Miles: This isn't just some street, it's Oathblades turf.
Miles: And it was Captain Hachi who sought me out for sparring. Isn't that right?
Hachi: Hmph!
Miles: See, he got no comment, either.
Miles: We're just having a little friendly competition, that's all.
Miles: That's not under the Defense Force's jurisdiction, is it?
Mira: ...
Mira: If your competition was indeed friendly and fair...
Mira: The Defense Force has no reason to intervene.
Mira: However, if one of you or a bystander get seriously hurt because of this...
Mira: The Defense Force will prosecute you to the fullest extent of the law.
Mira: You will...
Miles: That's enough, I'm familiar with the law.
Miles: Why don't we strive to have a great 'competition', Hachi...
Hachi and Miles take fighting stances again
Mira: (Whispers) Keep their attention until Eddie gets here.
Player: All right, yes!
Player: Wait!!
-Choice 1.1 - Eddie said Miles didn't owe him money!
Hachi: Really?
Hachi: Something's wrong. Where's Eddie?
Hachi: Eddie never made it. You lied to me!
Player: He did come!
Player: Look over there!
Player: Uh, he was just there...
Player: He went to the restroom and will be back soon!
Player: Don't worry, everyone... Please be patient!
Miles: Eddie left on business yesterday, so he couldn't be here even he's returned.
Hachi: Huh?
Hachi: So you lied to me!
Hachi: I treated you like a brother and you lied to me!
Player: I...

-Choice 1.2 - Shouldn't you find a more open space? - 5 Intimacy
Hachi: Wide open space?
Player: It's got plenty of room for you two to go at it.
Player: Big enough for any move you want to try.
Player: So it will be a fair fight.
Player: There's no risk of you accidentally hurting spectators.
Player: And neither of you need to worry about them getting in the way.
Player: How's that sound?
Hachi: That's a great idea!
Hachi: Awesome idea, bro!
Hachi: Should we change venue, White Hair?
Miles: Yeah.
Miles: Where?
Mira: Defense Force training ground.
Mira: We'll provide the space.
Hachi: Thank you, Captain Mira!
Miles: Thanks. Let's go.

-Choice 1.3 - Shouldn't there be a referee? - 8 Intimacy
Hachi: Maybe there ought be a referee.
Hachi: We can't take any chance on White Hair calling foul later when there was none, right?
Hachi: Good thinking, bro.
Player: Heh heh.
Miles: What, you want to ref?
Player: Uh, it would be better for Mira to ref.
Miles: Mira has too many rules and is too strict for the fight to be any fun.
Mira: ...
Miles: How about let Player be the ref?
Miles: So the darn tiger won't say I cheated.
Player: Okay!
Player: I'll count down from three.
Player: Three...
Player: Three...
Hachi: Why did you count 'three' twice?
Player: I did? Wasn't paying attention, I guess.
Player: Two...
Player: Two...
Hachi: Why did you count twice again?
Player: It sounds more formal to repeat everything twice!
Miles: He's just dragging it out. Let's get it on, Tiger!
Player: This...
Conversation continues after choices
Eddie: Both of you, stop it now!
Bystanders: There's our hero!
Miles: Eddie?
Eddie runs up to the group
Player: You came, Eddie!
Eddie: What's going on? I heard...
Eddie: (Whispers) They fought over me?
Player: Well, not really, but basically that too.
Eddie: (Whispers) What is going on? It's all over the Never Isle...
Eddie: (Whispers) And I don't know a darn thing about it!
Player: (Whispers) What? It already got out?
Hachi: Perfect timing, Eddie!
Hachi: Watch me teach this puppy a lesson and do you justice!
Eddie: Do me justice?
Miles: You didn't know?
Player: Hachi said Miles borrowed money from you and never paid it back...
Player: You tried to get him to pay up but got beat up instead.
Player: So he came to the Oathblades to do you justice.
Mira: Is what Hachi said true, Eddie?
Eddie: What?!
Eddie: No, that never happened, Miles...
Eddie: Miles did owe me some money, but I never asked him to pay it back.
Eddie: Where did that rumor come from?
Hachi: If that never happened, does he owe money to the Order of Equality?
Eddie: Is that even impossible?
Hachi: So he owes you money and beat you up...
Hachi: That's not true? I was lied to?
Bystander A: So that's what this is all about!
Bystander B: You're killing me. Watched too much of The Rupor's Show, did you?
Eddie: ... The Rupor's Show?
Eddie: I remember, there was a segment like this before.
Eddie: No one lied to you, Hachi, but they were just talking about a plot on the Rupor's Show!
Hachi: The Rupor's Show...
Hachi: How was I supposed to know they were just talking about a show!
Miles: So you just barged in without figuring it out?
Hachi: Sorry, my bad!
Miles: Sorry? Are you talking to me?
Hachi: Sorry, everyone!
Hachi: Especially you, Mr. Miles. Sorry for being rude!
Miles: Mister?
Miles: Just stick with White Hair.
Hachi: Sorry for the ruckus on your island, Captain Mira.
Hachi: I'm sorry, Eddie, for causing you trouble...
Hachi: Sorry to you too, Player.
Player: I'm fine, no problem at all.
Eddie: It's okay, Hachi. You didn't know.
Eddie: Just don't be so reckless next time.
Hachi: Yeah, don't let it happen again.
Hachi: I got a big mouth, Miles. I really mean it when I say I'm sorry.
Miles: Oh? What do you have in mind, then?
Hachi: I must pay you back. I have a big mouth, but a strong body too!
Bystander A: Uh, what's he talking about?
Bystander B: So you're paying him back with your body?
Eddie: ...
Player: Of course that's not what he meant. Do we really need comments from the peanut gallery?
Bystander C: Yes, Eddie's still here!
Hachi: I have to repay him with labor.
Hachi: Let me know what menial labor you Oathblades have these days and I'll come do it!
Miles: Thanks, but we don't have a lot for you.
Miles: Laundry for a few days?
Miles: Or you can spar me. You'd make a great practice partner.
Miles: Pick one.
Hachi: Practice partner it is!
Miles: All right, that works. See me tomorrow...
Hachi: No, can't do!
Hachi: The General said one must go 120% in a proper apology!
Hachi: Just being your sparring partner won't do!
Hachi: I'll do laundry too!
Miles: Well, okay, I got no preference, anyway.
Miles: How about you do laundry and spar with me tomorrow?
Hachi: Sure!
Player: Thanks, Eddie. You resolved the misunderstanding as soon as you showed up.
Player: Hachi was reasonable once it was cleared between us.
Eddie: General Will mentored him, after all.
Eddie: It's the idea of 'whoever started it should end it.'
Eddie: Hachi was impulsive. If he wasn't acting on my behalf...
Eddie: But a personal issue between him and Miles, and I wouldn't have been able to help at all.
Mira: But all things considered, it ended well without a fight.
Mira: I'm going back to the Defense Force to get work done.
Eddie: Wait, Mira, I want to ask you a favor...
Mira: Does it have something to do with rumors?
Eddie: Yeah.
Mira: Don't worry, we'll help squash it.
Eddie: Thank you, Captain Mira.
Mira: I'll going now.
Player: Bye, Captain Mira!
Mira takes off
Hachi: Many thanks to you, my brothers!
Hachi: I was so reckless.
Hachi: If it wasn't for you, I would've gotten myself in a big mess!
Player: It's all right, that's what friends do!
Hachi: I must treat you to a feast!
Hachi: I already told Miles I want the three of us to break bread together!
Eddie: Hold on. You, me, and Miles?
Player: Me, too?
Hachi: What's wrong? Is there a problem?
Player: (If Miles, Eddie, and Hachi dine together, there'll be rumors... And I'll be there, too...)
Eddie: Uh, no, not a problem at all!
Player: ...
Player: (Whispers) Eddie, aren't you afraid of starting more gossip?
Eddie: (Whispers) Nah, it's all right.
Eddie: It's rare for you to be back, so we must dine together.
Eddie: I got to go check in with the Order of Equality. See you tonight!
Hachi: All right!

Player: Okay, I'll wait for him at the airship tower!
Player runs to the Never Isle city gate
Eddie: What?
Eddie: Hachi?
Eddie: ... And Miles?
Eddie: They're fighting on my behalf?
Never Isle Guard: Yes. The news is all over Never Isle. You didn't know it's about you?
Eddie: ... I really have no idea!
Player: You're finally here, Eddie!
Eddie: Is it because of the deal with Hachi and Miles?
Player: Well, they're about to fight. Come with me!

Eddie: General Will mentored him, after all.
Eddie: Hachi was impulsive. If he wasn't acting on my behalf...
Eddie: But a personal issue between him and Miles, and I wouldn't have been able to help at all.
Player: But all things considered, it ended well.
Eddie: ... What about the rumors now?
Player: Well...
Scene ends

-Part 4
Player runs off to find General Will leaving Hachi and Miles to fight for now
Miles: Out of the way now?
Miles: Why are you standing still when the meddler is out of the way?
Hachi: Roar!!
Scene - Order of Equality Headquarters
Player: Excuse me, is General Will in?
Order of Equality Musketeer: The General...
Will: Sure enough, you've found me here.
General Will walks out
Order of Equality Musketeer: General!
Will: I wanted to see if you youngsters could resolve it by yourselves.
Will: It's so you to think about taking shortcuts right away.
Player: It seems the General has already heard about this.
Player: Eddie wasn't on the island and it didn't make sense to get Mira. But they'd both listen to you, General.
Will: Young people get competitive sometimes. It's not a bad thing.
Will: I know how mighty Miles is, but I don't know how much Hachi has improved or if he can win.
Player: So you stayed out of it because you wanted to assess Hachi?
Will: Yes. And don't take Miles for a simple brute. There's finesse in what he does.
Will: He knows what he's doing.
Player: So ignore it?
Will: Ignore it?
Will: I didn't come out so I could ignore it!
Will: That hothead Hachi was screaming about standing up for Eddie while fighting Miles.
Will: I could hear it all the way in the Order of Equality here.
Will: Eddie left on business yesterday, so he probably has no idea about this, but...
Will: Hachi and Miles are going at each other over Eddie...
Will: So if the news break, what would people say about Eddie?
Player: You're right, General!
Will: But guess I got to get involved, too, for Eddie's sake. Let's go!
Player: Okay!
Will: Who's getting serious?
Hachi: Gen...
General Will and Player enter
Hachi: ... General!
Hachi gives a salute and bows
Miles: Why are you here, General?
Will: What do you think, Hachi?
Hachi: General, this White... Miles...
Hachi: He bullied Eddie, never repaid a debt, and when Eddie came to collect, he struck him!
Miles: I never did that. You can ask Eddie yourself, General Will.
Hachi: Don't listen to him! He's always bullying Eddie!
Hachi: And he said our Order of Equality was for cowards!
Miles: 'Our Order of Equality'? Aren't you a Shadowhunter?
Hachi: Why you...!
Will: Restraining one's anger is mightier than conquering a city.
Hachi: ... Got it, General...
Will: Where did you hear that, Hachi?
Hachi: There were two guys in the restaurant...
Will: Where are they?
Hachi: Well...
Will: Did they say anything?
Hachi: Yes! In fine details, even!
Hachi: They said Miles told Eddie: 'I'll repay the debt with few more bullets!'
Hachi: Why are you all lying on the ground for? I didn't leave any money there.
Miles: That even sounded like something I'd say. Impressive.
Hachi: Maybe the details are wrong, but the gist is true!
Bystander A: Ha, that is straight from the Rupor's Show!
Will: Can you elaborate, my friend?
Bystander A: Of course, General!
Bystander A: In the Rupor's Show script, Miles owed money to the Order of Equality...
Bystander A: Eddie was ordered to collect debts, and Miles tried to weasel out of it...
Bystander A: So Eddie had to resort to force and defeat Miles in a fight for him to eventually pay it back...
Miles: What? Eddie beat me?
Miles: Whoever wrote that should fight me!
Will: His reaction told it all, Hachi.
Will: Miles wasn't aware of it. It never happened.
Will: Are you making trouble over something that isn't true?
Hachi: General, I...
Will: If you stayed calm, cool and talk things out, it would be over in little time.
Will: Or you could take the time and ask the two people in the restaurant to elaborate...
Will: Then everything that happened today wouldn't have.
Will: Tell me, when are you going to do something about your temper?
Hachi: I screwed up this time, General... I really screwed up!
Hachi: I'm sorry, General!
Will: Why apologize to me? Apologize to Miles.
Hachi: Right, I'm just not thinking today!
Hachi: I'm sorry, Mr. Miles. My apologies!
Miles: Mister?
Miles: Just stick with White Hair.
Will: Hachi, you call people 'White Hair'?
Hachi: Uh, about that, General...
Will: Apologize.
Miles: That's not necessary, General. I don't mind.
Hachi: I'm sorry, Miles!
Hachi: I'm sorry, General!
Hachi: Sorry to you, too, Player...
Hachi: Sorry for dragging you here.
Player: It's fine. I can regard it as an exercise!
Player: Just don't be so reckless next time.
Will: Huh?
Player: Of course that's not what he meant. Do we really need comments from the peanut gallery?
Bystander C: Oops, the General is still here. We should quit talking.
Hachi: I have to repay him with labor.
Hachi: Let me know what menial labor you Oathblades have these days and I'll come do it!
Miles: I don't think we have much for you to do, though...
Miles: Laundry for a few days?
Miles: Or you can spar me. You'd make a great practice partner.
Miles: Pick one.
Hachi: Practice partner it is!
Miles: All right, that works. See me tomorrow...
Hachi: No, can't do!
Miles: Why? Regretting it already?
Hachi: The General said one must go 120% in a proper apology!
Hachi: Just being your sparring partner won't do!
Hachi: I'll do laundry too!
Miles: Well, okay, I got no preference, anyway.
Miles: How about you do laundry and spar with me tomorrow?
Hachi: Sure!
Hachi walks up to General Will
Will: You've improved, Hachi. You might even beat Miles one-on-one!
Hachi: You know how Shadowhunter training is exhausting, General!
Hachi: I'm exhausted every day, so it's gotta produce some benefit!
Will: I'm glad to hear that.
Will: I'm very happy with how you conduct yourself with sincerity today.
Hachi: Thank you, General!
Will: If only you could control your temper better!
Hachi: I'll definitely work on that, General!
Will: Okay, I have official business to tend to.
Will: Let me treat you to dinner tonight.
Hachi: No, no, let me treat you and Player!
Player: Me, too?
Hachi: Yeah, for stopping me from making a bigger fool of myself in time!
Hachi: I can't let your effort go for naught!
Hachi: And Miles too!
Will: I approve.
Will: Miles is an avid carnivore. Pick a place that serves good meat, then give me the time and place.
Will: I'll be there.
Player: Me too!
Hachi: All right!
