Never Isle II

Scene - Inside the Arcana Academy

Player sees Vundo talking to two guards

Vundo: I really didn't see anything. Are you sure?

Vundo: Okay, has anyone entered or left the academy since I left?

Guard A: President... we left with you...

Vundo: Right... But I thought you came back slightly earlier than I did?

Guard B: Yes, but no one entered or left the academy in the meantime...

Player: President Vundo, is everything okay?

Vundo: Haha, you're here!

Librarian: I did ask President Vundo for a Seal. It was before he headed out.

Choice 3.1 - When President was away...

Librarian: When was it...

Librarian: It was during class time. All students who were scheduled to go to classes would be in class so...

Choice 4.1 - What happened when President was away...

Male Student: There's a teacher in the hall. The older one. He teaches history in the class next door.

Male Student: I heard him talking with President Vundo in his office. He was really loud.

Male Student: It was like they were arguing.

Male Student: Soon after President Vundo left, I saw him come out sneakily.

Male Student: I had been staying around the office after that until the guards came back.

Male Student: Nobody entered the office during that time.

Wasted so many!

Player goes to pick up the last pile of candies but suddenly gets trapped in a magic circle

Player notices a painting on the wall above him

And this painting!

Am I getting sucked into it again?!

Player is transported in a hall similar to the one in the painting

Player: Is this... a portal array?

Player: I never could have thought that painting was a secret passage...

Player: She could have entered this passage too.

Player: We have no choice but to keep chasing...

Player continues and spots more candy on the ground

As Player goes down to pick the candy up, a pink light shoots straight at him

Player manages to dodge at the last second

What in the world?

Player: Yaen? Is that you?

Yaen reveals herself in a puff of smoke

Yaen: Here，I got you more candies!

Player fights Yaen

Yaen: I don't often see new people here. Have fun with me!

Player: How did you become two?!

Yaen's Illusion: Double the candies, double the fun!

Yaen: And here's my little pet, Buru!

Buru: Squeak!

Player: Can you give me the Seal first? I will play with you after!

Yaen: Let me have some fun first!

Player defeats Yaen

Yaen: *Crying*...

Yaen: You shameless villain! How can you bully a young, helpless kid like me!

Yaen: *Crying*... I'll tell Big Pipe about this...

Choice 6.1 - Go find him then!

Player: Aren't you afraid that he will know you have stolen his Seal?

Yaen: *Crying*... You big bully...

Player: You better give us the Seal now.

Choice 6.2 - Give us the Seal!

Yaen: *Crying*... Big bully... Don't do this to me!

Player: Are you gonna give it to us or not...

Yaen: The Seal... is actually not with me...

Yaen: I will take you to it, okay?

Player follows Yaen out of the painting but gets transported somewhere else

Scene - Arcana Academy's Arcana Tower

A mysterious box emitting shadowy flames sits in the middle of the tower's floor

Choice 7.1 - What's this place?

Yaen: It's the Arcana Tower. I'm not exactly sure where...

Yaen: But it'll be very fun!

Yaen: The Seal is in the box. You can just take it out!

Choice 7.2 - Where's the Seal?

Yaen: In the box!

Player: Why do you put it in such a place?

Yaen: I didn't want to put it here either. I wanted to return it after I finished using it...

Yaen: But I saw Big Pipe with a little guy inside. I didn't want them to find out, so I left it here...

Player and Vundo fight the Shadow Demon

Vundo: And you lied to make him open the box that imprisoned the Shadow Demon!

Player: ...

Yaen: *Weeping* so scary!

Vundo: I will come for you once I finish dealing with this Shadow Demon!

Player and Vundo defeat the Shadow Demon

Vundo: The Shadow alert went off and here you are.

Vundo: Return the Seal now!

Yaen: No! Bwahahah!

Vundo: Do you really think you can run away from me?

Vundo traps Yaen in an arcana prison

Vundo: Why don't you stay here and think about what you've done?

Yaen dispells the prison with a wave of her lollipop

Yaen: This case is such no use.

Yaen: I barely touched it and it broke.

Vundo: You...

Yaen: Oh well. I guess I'll tell you.

Yaen: The Seal is in your drawer where your lace undergarments are. Take a look if you don't believe me.

Player: Sir，uh....

Vundo: Don't listen to her!

Yaen teleports out of the tower

Vundo: Yaen!

Player: (But the Seal!)

Player continues to talk to Vundo

Choice 8.1 - Arcane?

Vundo: She even hacked my spell!

Vundo: This girl! Insufferable!
